Why is chess such a compatitive game.For example why is chess worth having a website for, and checkers isn't.

are there no checker websites?  lol, i dont know, i dont play checkers, not since i was about 6 or 7 anyway

Hmmm...there is a chess webiste because Erik(right?) came up with the genious idea of making one.  If you want a checkers website, then how about you make one?

 I'm not sure why you say there is no website for checkers, i searched and found plenty of them.
