Will Chess.com not ban my opponent for abuse

Public reporting isn’t allowed. If you are sure your opponent said that, report them.

I need more details to make an informed judgement here. Please fill in the Fs and Bs. I will then render a decision. Also, you could turn off chat, but that might be too easy.

For severe profanity and personal insults, Chess.com usually gives the player a chat mute or a temporary suspension (often 3 to 7 days) if it is their first major offense. If this player has a history of toxic behavior or already has warnings on their account, Chess.com will permanently ban them. Human moderators have to manually review the chat logs after a report is filed. Because of this, the punishment won't happen instantly, but they do take severe verbal abuse seriously.
