Will FIDE Split?

Now that Karpov lost and his campaign site continues to make accusations of corruptions will we see the creation of an alternate Chess Federation?  Was this perhaps the plan all along, using disputed elections to give momentum to a new Federation?

How does Karpov compete with someone in contact with aliens? Game over.

If my chess.com rating is 1300 what will my Karpov rating be?

Your chess.com rating is inflated, it would only be 900 in OTB Karpov rating.

Ilyumzhinov is crazy, but a split would hurt chess I think.  Ilyumzhinov needs to disappear, maybe aliens will take him into space as an intergalactic chess tutor.

But he won't disappear and he'll run FIDE for the forseeable future.  So for people who really think he is nuts, corrupt, or unqualified what would the options be?

It looks like from now on all major chess tournaments will be held in Siberia.
