Will Levy make it to GM ?

Another attempt by Levy to gain the GM title. Can he make it?

What tournament?

Numerous, he has to get two norms in GM level tournaments and a 2500 rating. It is a long haul process.

Natural presenter/streamer and content producer. I would love to see him succeed but I can't really imagine it.

Actually 3 GM norms. He has none so far. And AFAIK he has retired from competitive chess.

Still depends on the tournament. They groom these teenagers and play them against each other to earn norms. But few move on and win beyond that.

Levy is 28 Almost past his peak for a chess player.

Last classical tourney 2 years back with a rating of 2322. Not really even at IM level. But anything's possible ...

Unlikely. First, he is quite far away from 2500 at the moment. Besides, he would really have to focus on chess and ignore his obligations as a content creator, if he were serious about it. It makes more sense for him to use the "road to GM announcement" to create content.

Not necessarily he has a lot more sources and time now that he's a content creator he just wants to also do other things besides chess

I don't know much about content creation, but I assume that it is a full time job. And he is pretty successful right now. So it doesn't make sense to neglect it to chase a chess title just for the sake of chasing a title.
