Will offer chess advice. Free. At least until the game comes on tv.
Early. Would elaborate but the Georgetown game is on. Im a Mac Mcclung fan.
And thanx for the welcome.
U shouldnt check just because u can. If a move benefits u in some way u should consider it. If it happens to be check so be it. Having a plan and pursuing it is paramount. Ur opponent putting u in check isnt bad in and of itself.
Immediately.
I kinda get the feeling I'm gonna get something like a Maryanne or Ginger question next.
That doesn't count sadkid. I can't help with that, I'm not a computer.
Anyway, Georgetown is down 41-35 to Butler at halftime.
If you're brought out of book early in a slow time control game (say 90|30), how important is keeping up on the clock with your opponent compared to finding the best moves to get into the middlegame unscathed?
I believe it's against the rules to read anything other than ur scoresheet during a rated game. And budgeting ur time is part of the competition so use ur time wisely.
Dang it Carrot, I'd prefer the Ginger and Maryanne who's hotter question. I'd figure it out but but I'm watching the second half.
Ok y'all, if any of u have any questions on how to improve I'll see what I can supply u with as far as advice.
