I never get why Lasker is so underrated, here not even in the top dozen of 15 World Champions. He won every tournament he played after Hastings 1895 up until Moscow 1925 apart from one where he finished second, won New York 1924 well ahead of Capa and Alekhine in spite of being 55+, lost against Alekhine for the first time when he was 65+, finished ahead of Capa in every tournament until his late 60s, won numerous title matches etc etc.

Wiki says he was "frail" and then lists lots of health problems due to drug abuse.

I know one of his hands was deformed, but other than that, what kind of genetic problems did he have? He was "frail"? That's not a disease. Kramnik has a real disease.

He had done sort of lung/kidney disease, if I remember correctly. There was a period where he was in and out of the hospital constantly.
