Yeah, I hate those OTB games that take 2-3 months to complete 
If you don't like vacation, play in No Vacation tourneys or play Live. Correspondence games can take a long time, depending on the time control, and sometimes people have other things going on during that time frame.
So we've not to go on holiday? It's a bleeding game of chess. Get real.

Corespondance chess is slow. Whether people go on vacation or not makes precious little difference in the scheme of it in most games. If I want fast games I play live chess or 24 hour/move no vacation tournaments.

I dislike players like the OP and Americu. You know what the rules are before the game begins so if you don't like the rules then don't play.
The ones who write rude things in your notes (usually in broken english) if you beat them on time or refused a rematch, and especially a combination of both.
Also a guy who you beat 6 times in a row and keeps offering more rematches.
