This cover shows the Albin Counter Gambit, but is about the Tarrasch. Not too bad a book IMO. I know Eric has got some stick in the past:

I bought one of those reprint books of a different title
Chess History and Reminisces by Bird, H.E.
Might be interesting if it was readable.
I think I have you beat. Most of those reprints are total crap from the production standpoint and sometimes the contents.
Mine was done is such a small font I can't read it even with my reading glasses on!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a book by GM Lars Bo Hansen ended throwing it in the garbage bin he told about an early Na3 would be good if you are rated 2600.

a review in the chess union magazine made me buy this book. however I think it was too advanced for me.

Got this for christmas some years ago and it is not as bad as the cover implies. The photographer however deserves to be fired.
