Yei and So will they be the new leaders of chess ?

Will those 2 young GMs be the leading players in the next era of super grandmasters who knows but i'd like to know what you guys think about it.

Wei Yi, you mean? Yes, I think Wei Yi will be a leading force in future chess.

I don't think Wesley So will but Wei Yi is doing great right now, we'll have to see about 2 more years of tournaments to know more. I'm going to pay particular attention to his next tournament following this one. As has been pointed out on these threads so far there are a lot of presumed future superstars that fizzle out & never live up to their early promise.

Giri is younger than So and #15 (while So is #42) on the live rating list. So will be 20 years old in a couple of months and has not looked like the world's leading chess player in the future yet. Maybe he can reach top 15 like Giri one day, and that's not bad, but I wonder if he ever will get much higher than that.
