Yesterday's OTB debacle

I found a new club here in KC (using the finder on chess.com) and I tried to go to a friendly 10 min blitz tournament last nite.
On the way downtown all the traffic came to a dead standstill on the broadway bridge because of a crash... Then, when the police set up the initial detour route, it was down some industrial service road that was a dead end so all the cars were like "what do we do now?"
Kind of a funny story. Guess I'll have to play OTB chess some other time.
