I'm really comfortable on the white side of the king's Indian. I've played against it enough times to be familiar with the positions. I always hate playing against the bird because I've only played against it a few times and don't know how to counter it.
Your favourite opening?
Whatever opening I win a game with, that's my favorite opening, lol. I play d4, and with black against d4 I don't have a clue, lol. But my French defense is decent.

Nimzo-indian on black side. Also ponziani as white...
I play 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 (Scotch game.). I played it in 90% of games I played with white pieces. It's my favourite.
King's Indian Defence as Black is my altime favorite. I love the complexity and the winning chances. I hate to face the Queen's Gambit Declined and the Queen's Indian Defence both as White and to avoid those I play Catalan, which I also happen to like.
I love any White opening that involves the Stonewall Attack, the Colle System, or the Torre Attack.
I love the Caro Kann defence, and currently I'm starting to like the Benoni against 1.d4
Scotch Gambit and Evans Gambit are my favourite in white and against d4 my favourite is Grunfeld defence.
Morra, Vienna (as white) I like a lot. I hate the French. I like bold exciting games. At the chess club they call my style hyper classical. (as opposed to hypermodern). Development, Development, Development!!! Even at the cost of material.
I will never be a GM and Internet points are meaningless, so I play to create art! I might lose more often by playing like a swashbuckler but I have games recorded that are brilliant (sometimes I get lucky). I love creating games with!!! after a move.
With white I just love to play King's Gambit (1. e2-e4 e7-e5 2. f2-f4 ... ) With black I always play Scandinavian if white opens with 1. e2-e4 (1. ... d7-d5) On 2. e4xd5 I always reply with 2. ... Ng8-f6, and on 2. e4-e5 I always reply with 2. ... d5-d4. If white opens with any other move besides 1. e2-e4, I always reply 1. ... f7-f5. I just love to play Dutch with black!
Which is the opening you prefer most and feel most comfortable playing? Also which openings if any would you avoid?
