Your most frequent mistake

Wonder if other people also have a mistake that happens to them over and over.

For me personally it is overlooking if a pawn is pinned. Had this happen 2 times to me today in one game.

I'm really frustrated by that already.

So anyone has a similar weakness?

QFT but I'm getting much better at it.

For me, I leave pieces un-gaurded all the time. 

Stop playing bullet, dude.  Honestly - it's going to make it 10x worse.  

in general I miss the opponents threats

specifically I quite often miss diagonal attacks

Trapping my bishop. It used to be hanging my queen but lately, it's trapping my bishop. I seem to love to do that. It's maddening.

I get forked all the time :) I often overlook a knight-fork. 

Whoops. I forgot about the fork. I do that all the time too-- prompting me to develop one of my phrases, "pesky knight!"

I often blunder from playing too fast.

I'm surprised no one put..... yeah all the time by playing e4....  lol.

when I'm on the attack I tend to lose my concentration.

I frequently keep making the mistake of playing 1.e4, which a quantum computer will discover in 200 years, is not the best move. The best is actually 1.Na3

My most frequent mistake is being too overconfident against a low rated player.

Me too. I often get my ass kicked by lower rated players...

If I knew that I would have fixed it by now...

i think my most common mistake is missing ways to get extremely active because i'm too focused on static things like material and pawnstructure
