There are no secrets in chess, which in my opinion makes it awesome. Plus due to this, its one of few games that you can play against yourself without a conflict of interest.
but... I've had some of my best blitz games after a drink or two. Not enough to be drunk, but just enough that I try those riskier moves I would otherwise pass up.
I thought it would be nice to have a topic where people can share their secrets to victory, and it can be funny or boring. You can say that you chew gum while you play, or maybe listen to Beatles music. Or you can just type out a bunch of advanced stuff. No matter.
Well, for me, I like to suck on a Mentos while I play (preferably mint flavor). :D
