Assuming white and black are two countries at war. How would you describe the situation for both?

If loss is kept to a minimum, what are the pieces must white lose in order to take out every black pieces before check mating the king?

Reading is hard, I see. So you didn't even try.

Back to the question: nobody can answer that. It is impossibly hard. Even when chess is fully solved (in the year 3023), this still will be an impossibly hard question.

Black can win 3 pieces. Which ones? That depends upon which ones they want.

"Theres nothing we can do"-Black. Anyway if i have to answer then i think white will lost 2 bishop and a queen to capture black piece if both played perfect.

My last two braincells died while reading the question. But if I understood it right then it depends on white. He can give up his whole army to win, or negotiate and plan out everything to win the game losing only three to four pieces. Stockfish might even do better IG
