you're still here???

I think cheater_1 wins whether we win or not, cheater_1 has already weaved his own dramatic scenario that we have all played into, and are still playing into, but I think it's fantasticly fun.
Tell me cheater_1, will you ever be likely to reveal your identity?
My money's on it being Erik himself, because Erik can, if he likes, trace the IP or cheater_1 and let everyone know where he/she lives "county-wise" but is yet to do so - why?

Hahaha Clownfish, great post. This
ever since I was BORN on a LOTUS LEAF by my VIRGIN mother!
was especially good.

But my real BACKUP, the REAL RESPECT I will get will be when I checkmate chess.com. A draw will be a loss for me. I'm playing to win. I have my progs on a high contempt for draw value.
I can see it now. I will finally get the respect I deserve from chess.com. Just like after the bully gets his nose broken by the kid he was picking on and then never again picks on that kid, I too will be welcomed with open arms by this site after I checkmate them. I will be accepted into the fold. People will value my opinion and respect it. I WILL have taken the BEST team chess.com has to offer and squashed it.
You all will respect me one day.
The team you're playing against is not the best Chess.com has to offer.
1) There are a few very strong players on this site not participating in that game. (GM Nigel Davies, for instance...)
2) Many of the people voting for moves are extremely weak players. Not that there's anything wrong with that, that is the PURPOSE of vote chess, to have a team game with many different players and have fun. In that respect, the game has already been a success, as far as I'm concerned; However, it does reduce the level of play considerably.
Asking for respect because of a Chess game is something not even a GM can get from me. (not from a single game anyway, and certainly not from a single game against such a mixed team).
In any case, the game is interesting, and if you manage to keep it interesting long enough, this should be enough:)
I assure you, I'm having fun in the game:)
Imagine THAT. I'm gone for nearly a week (I said I'd be gone til Sunday night...I lied) and this site is still running strong. Huh. Well, take a look at that. A topic that I STARTED a long time ago is still breathing life on the leader board. Even my OLD topics are sought out and responded to. Even though it was trivial, it speaks VOLUMES.
I took a HIT on my "compensation" for not being here a week. Just as bloggers get PAID for what they do, trolls (I do so hate that term) are also paid for their "services". Just as computer hacking is an underground profession, blackmarket you might say, trolling is much the same. Now, I am not on the payroll of this site or even in communication with its owners, but trolls are a NECESSARY component to make websites, blogs, chat rooms, etc. interesting, and are sought out and compensated.
As for our little vote chess game, I'M IMPRESSED with team chesscheaters.com. My .47 lead has dwindled to .13. I played out the current game on all three of my programs and had 2 draws and one LOSS. I'm not very happy now. 20 minutes of analyzations produces the same results as 2 hours. That means that there is only ONE correct move for that position and no other move will work. You could let Deep Blue analyze it for a MONTH and get the same results. That means the game is EVEN, but the momentum is in your favor.
My SPIES have told me that even though there are over 550 people on board to play our game, sometimes the total votes are 1/4 that number. They have also told me that most of them are fellow cheaters using RYBKA and SHREDDER and then they FLOOD the comment board with " EVERYONE, VOTE FOR DxE5." Then all the little clones follow suit. What a disappointment. Really it is. I'll tell you why. As I said a ZILLION times before, my TALENT lies in cheating at LIVE chess, where you have to think fast on your toes. It requires GREAT dexterity when up against the clock. It is where RAM and processor power are worth their weight in GOLD. I'm a busy man. I have other commitments. I can't sit at home and set Fritz to infinite analysis for 12 hours. That is just not what I'm about. That is why many of my moves are 47 hours apart. I'm beginning to lose interest. Oh, I'll play this game to its conclusion, or until I begin losing -3 or more, or until I get BORED.... whichever comes first.
Once again, so far, I'm impressed with your play team chesscheaters.com, but I am disappointed in you. Whoever wins, it will be a hollow victory, that much is for sure. Sinking to my level. Turning off your brain and letting a program think for you. tsk tsk
You are the best!shame chess.com does not open a fan club for you.
CLOWNFISH gets the award for funniest post. I actually LAUGHED.
MOLOTAVRUSS, I was actually going to offer to personally MEET ERIK next month for a quick OTB game, due to the fact that me and my girlfriend (yes someone loves me out there) are going to be vacationing in San Fran and Napa Valley, not far from HERR ERIK'S command center. But plans got changed and my time is short.
I have no fear of meeting anyone in public places and playing a quick game. Heck, when we vacationed in SEATTLE the owner of the hotel we stayed at (who also played on the same site I used to) has a standing offer that ANYONE who can checkmate him in a 15 minute game of chess can stay FREE. I took him up on it, not knowing he was rated something like 2300, and I promptly resigned in 17 moves.
I may entertain you all by posting a few pictures of myself (obscured a bit) as I sit in my dark room connected to all my wires and hoses and feeding tubes and hardware as I commune with my computers during this match. It may take a few days, but I will post a few.

So now you have a taste of yourself, and you call it bad, making another (3rd time) insult to yourself!

You all know what I really like, aside from manipulating the system to my own ends, is reading the responses from people all over the world. I love other nationality's take on all this. Sure, it all comes back to stroking my ego, but I don't really give a DANG about what some PEON from Jersey or Alabama has to say, but when I see responses from Sweden, Portugal, Israel, England, I marvel at how GLOBAL anything can become with the pushing of the "enter" key. TO think that someone in exotic Sweden or Israel (it's exotic to me) is contemplating what I say and what moves I make, I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Anyways, remember move #22. It will be my PIVOTAL moment.
