Incredibly, this is the 2nd 1-hour staller today for me. Funny how he waited until the 13th move before stalling, like the rules here permit, to stall from 58:31 to zero. Where is this permitted ? On Stall.com of course. I reported and blocked this user. I doubt anything will come of it. So that’s 2 hours of precious time wasted

Also, what could anyone do to help you? Someone else was unsportsmanlike, there’s nothing we can do about that.

You signed up for the possibility of a 2 hour game when you clicked the play button. I understand the time water sucks, so just report the person and move on.

@SacrifycedStoat My posts demonstrate that the way Chess.com deals with stalling is ineffective. I am advocating for change. All sports leagues have adapted and implemented secondary clocks to prevent the other team or player from stalling. Chess is no different. Chess.com needs to adapt as what they are doing is not working.
