Hi there,

Im writing concerning a specific bug that the chatbot can't handle. I had a diamond membership and wanted to switch to family and friends. I am unable to add neither a friend nor my partner to my plan. Im from france but currently reside in french polynesia with the partner I want to add. If it's a matter of country of residence, I wasn't informed which countries were off limits during my subscription. Is there a way to get a refund if Im unable to add friends and family with my current plan?

You should be able to. Use the Support tool and choose the billing/refund related option and they'll be able to assist

Hi, thanks for the reply. I keep getting redirected to the FAQ and the chatbot doesn't get my request. Is there any way to contact chesscom support directly, via email or something? For reference this is the error message I keep encountering:

"This member cannot be added to your plan. You can learn more about this error here."

There's not an email.

There are limitations on who can be added to the friends and family plan. You should be able to get the support tool to open a ticket with staff. Fully explain the issue and if that doesn't say you'll be contacted by staff, try something like contact an agent

why do some companies just not have "an email" you can reach and complain, it's the second time in this day alone this happened to me.

or a phone number where not a dumb ai tries to answer my question and can't do anything, so i have to walk to a store which can't help. and still have to walk to the other which is dumb company.
