abuse???

Hey, I just got this message a moment ago and I haven't been using chat at all or even speaking during my games. I'm not sure why I would get this or be reported for this when I haven't been chatting during my games...

How do I no longer receive these messages, because to me, it really seems that people are reporting me out of spite? Obviously, not using chat isn't going to make such things going away because I haven't been using chat.

Doing an '@' does not tell the user that you tagged them. DM him, if you want him to definitely see it.

I DMed him and also contacted help and support about this directly. I really don't like the idea that one of my recent opponents may have actually filed a malicious false report and that a false report could get my account closed. Especially when I simply haven't been using chat.

That message can come from being reported for chat or from posts in the forums, directly from your profile, etc.
It's a generic message and more of a reminder of the TOS.

so for clarification, if it's a report from a disgruntled person that i may have even blocked or from a disgruntled opponent, there's nothing to worry about?

I think so. I myself have gotten this message after a report, and it looks like what Martin was talking about is correct. It's a generic message as a reminder, I'd assume.

Best to not worry about these, if you keep getting them then that's a cause for your attention

that's why i brought it up...because it's the second time...while previously, i can understand, i haven't been using chat feature since, but i have blocked a lot of people in the forums...i'm not sure how that could be construed as "abusive" though...
