Admin Problems

Hi,    wondering if anyone knows the answer here.

I helped a friend out by being Admin for a friend (for a football team club that i dont support.....i dont even like football).    so after not being online for a while i came back to find no super admin and me being the only admin without the privelages to promote others.   So im stuck if you get my drift.   Is there anyway for staff to change status etc because i really dont want to run the team alone or shut it down on the guys.    any help would be appreciatted.

I can only restore a super admin if i know the name of the most recent one in the group (or the person who created it).

Only a premium member can be super admin of a group.

Try posting in the group asking the premium members in there if anyone wants to manage the group.

If they do, as long as i know who the last super admin was, i can add someone else onto the group for you.

Curious that an SA can leave without first assinging another SA, but if they had their account closed by staff for some kind of infraction I can understand how it happened.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that there's a rule in place prohibiting basic members from being SA of a group, although in a case like this they may make an exception.  Perhaps reach out to them directly using the Help & Support link at the bottom of the page to see what can be done.

Yes, sorry, I understood that.  To be clear I meant that as SA you could promote another member before leaving.  Good on you for being conscientious about it, by the way.
