Analysis board...different?

I swear it used to be that the analysis would only let you make legal moves-- you couldn't move into check, you could only move pieces how they're allowed to be moved, and it would keep track of whose turn it is.

 

Am I wrong or was it like that a little while back?

We have reverted the analysis board to use the normal chess rules by default. If you want to have an open analysis board (with no legality checking), there is a check-box to the right of the board where you have that option.
