Resolved: Android phones -aaarrrggghhh!

I do a lot of my playing on my old phone (Android system), but since the new phone app for Chess.com has been installed I find it impossible to increase the size of my board. It tiles the same game and freezes the picture so that I cannot use it to make a move. The only way out is to reduce the size of the game board to small (tiny espescially when you have sausage fingers like me) and I cannot then make the fiddly moves sich as move a pawn up one square.

Anybody got any ideas?

Which android is it?  Which app version are you using and when was it last updated?

Hi, the phone is the HTC wildfire, Android version 2.2.1 and it has been regularly updated.

Are you using the wildfire in portrait or landscape?

kkuhn

Both and it makes no difference!

I can see it small on landscape but not portrait. Are you able to get a screenshot of what you're seeing for me please?

Sorry, I am a bit of a techno Ludite, so you will need to tell me how I can do a screen shot from my mobile. Apologies for messing you around.

Hey, I think I have sussed it, it appear that I ahve been trying to link into the web site on my mobile and because of the changes it does not like it (the phone that is). But when I go in by the app, the board fills the whole screen, still cant enlarge theboard but it is not as fiddly as the direct web page. Thanks for you help kohai.
