I've spent hours on getting to 2nd place, I don't want them to go to waste because of some random bug.....

Yeah I think this is correct, I tried over and over again that day and it only restarted working when there were only 2.5 hrs left (At that point I realized I couldn’t make it and stopped - I don’t recall clearly but I wouldn’t be surprised if I played some bullet games just before that)
I am not going to play in these again because of all the cheaters and then chess.com being absurdly slow with banning the obvious one(s) and then no responses on bugs, etc.....It was just a very unpleasant experience - I was enjoying it a lot for the first few hours but then with the things mentioned above, it went from a lot of fun to irritating pretty fast - especially because I had over a 100 point lead over everyone else (except the banned cheater) when it stopped pairing me...
Anyway congrats on winning 
I'm playing in the Saturday Bullet Marathon and it stopped pairing me.
I can play in other arenas and live chess perfectly fine. I've tried going in and out of Beta, other devices, browsers, and nothing is working.
It is stuck on "Get Ready" when I click next game :/
