I don't know if I am chat banned but if I am, someone said weird stuff towards me because I'm American and yea, after that I'm not able to use chat anymore. if I'm not chat banned that's good but I don't know if I am or not, but if I am can you please fix it. thanks {edit} never mind im just slow and didnt know i had smth in settings turned off.

A lot of people restrict chat options.
There's a default setting on it. Could be checked on.
Similiar thing happens with friend requests by personal message.
Or getting personal messages in general.
But settings and features often malfunction.
Especially alerts. Over the years.
But all of that could be affected by how one's own system is set up and maintained (or not maintained).

You're chatting in this thread, so you can freely chat as long as you're not blocked, or your opponent doesn't have chat off.
I get "user is not available in chat" prompt every single time, is it a bug?
I'm seeing the same thing and it started right about the same time. I get that message even when I'm replying to chats that are sent to me.
People sometimes send messages and then block replies.
