I have the iPhone 11 and it does the same thing. TY for the idea to fix it.

Hi,
I have chess.com installed on my Iphone XS and everytime i do a game without wifi the battery drains extremely fast and the phone gets extremely hot. i've never experienced any issue with any other app... This problem also happens if i have data on, but that is quite more understandable rather than playing offline... why the hell does the batterir drains so fast offline? I litteraly went from 60% to 0% within 30 minutes // two offline chess games...
