It shows up when I run it on the web.
I see on the web settings available when you are running analysis that there is a checkbox for displaying suggestion arrows. Do you have that checked?

@justbefair : many thanks for your help. I already have enabled/activated all settings I was able to find.
EDIT: I just verified. Yes I have enabled settings > interface > analysis > suggestion arrow.
Is this the setting you are referring to ?
It used to work for me, but a couple of months ago it the suggestion arrow disappeared all by itself (I didn't touch anything). I thought perhaps the function was removed entirely.
@justbefair: I don't really understand your screenshot. Kg7 is annotated as Black's best move. But at the same time, there is a suggestion arrow for White ?
I have never seen this before.
It doesn't make sense to me.
What I was used to: If I don't make a "best move", then in analysis mode, the engine shows me the best move with a green suggestion arrow on the board.
I am still informed of the best move in text form on the right side.
But it is not visually displayed anymore on the board (no green arrow).
In analysis mode, the best move ist not displayed anymore on the board by a green arrow.
How can this function be reactivated again ?
