Billing Issues

Hello,

About a week ago on the 26th I contacted billing support via the support ticket. I contacted support because after Christmas I had some money and wanted to buy a premium membership. However, I'm very new to chess and wanted to see if I liked it before buying a full year subscription. But as a complete accident I didn't realize I had the yearly subscription clicked.

I read through some other forum posts about a similar mistake and I saw that the policy was a 30-day money back guarantee on the very first subscription. Now I have been a monthly subscriber for a few months now. So, I am completely aware that I do not fit this description.

I'm just really hoping I could get my money back. This was a complete accident and I contacted support too hopefully get a refund so I can purchase a monthly subscription. Since this has occurred I have not played a single game or puzzle of chess or used any of the premium features because I'm not here to abuse the system. I'm simply here to politely request a refund.

Also, I am posting this here because I contacted via support ticket about a week ago and haven't heard a response. I am aware that in the email it said support is busy because of the holidays and the recent chess boom. I am just posting this to make sure my request didn't get lost and I am not trying to rush anything. But any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I am a little confused. You had a monthly subscription for a couple of months which you enjoyed. You came here last week to extend your subscription.

Over the course of the week, you decided that you weren't enjoying yourself and you shouldn't have resubscribed.

Is that right?

No. Sorry for the confusion. So I turned of reoccurring billing and thus my subscription ended. I went to re-subscribe and I mistakenly re-subscribe as a yearly membership which costed around $100. I did not mean for that to happen I was trying to subscribe to the monthly membership. Which is why I was hoping for a refund
