The "Play Now Link" on the main page is broken and leads to the 404 page

It has been like this for several days.  I don't see where to report problems like this other than this forum.

I was able to recreate that but only on my cellular data connection. Switching to wifi doesn't have the problem.

Are you on mobile and using cellular data? Or using a mobile hotspot?

Mac both Chrome and Firefox using Comcast.

It appears to be an ISP content caching issue. We're on different providers, so it may be more than one that has the problem, unless they happen to share a third party caching provider.

I imagine the bad caching should age out.

It would be best to open your own topic. But it could be your connection has a lot of lag to the site's servers, you are getting some disconnects, your opponents are playing faster, or some combination of those things.

Might test now. It's working for me.

Started working last night.  Now if only they'd make that link go to the login form instead of having to click again to login.

When a person clicks play now, they don't know for sure it is someone new that doesn't have an account or a current member. I guess maybe there could be a cookie that is persistent and they could go to login if that cookie shows you already have an account and to register if it can't find the cookie.

I just always go to chess.com/login grin.png
