bugs in piece movement

I moved a pawn from b7 to b5 and in the next move the opponent took my pawn on b6. When I go back a move the pawn is on b5 and when I go forward his pawn takes me at b6... This happened once before in this same game. Please help

Invisiblespaceship you did not read his comment properly, I am pretty sure he knows the rules and what en passant is..... This bug happened to me to, it's so annoying, it only happens sometimes when I have already castled and I move a pawn 2 steps forward but for the other player I only moved one step forward and he takes me, destroys by entire build up, I resign. Also If I remembered right, it have happened sometimes at the start of the game when I move the pawn forward in the middle.

The OP is clearly talking about en passant. In your situation, it is slightly different and accidentally dropping the piece on the wrong square, releasing the mouse too earlier, or potentially calibration being little off isn't the same.

Though, I would think that if moving your pawn one square ruins your  position after your opponent takes the pawn with theirs, then moving it two probably would be the same, since they can still take it. Unless you are talking about a completely different reason (such as protecting a piece and only moving one doesn't do it).

That's what en passant will look like when going over the game. He moves from b7 to b5 and the opponent's pawn captures on b6.
