Bugs on Nexus 7 running Android 4.4.2

I'm experiencing several annoying bugs/issues on my Nexus 7 running Android 4.4.2. Some of the issues are related to general design and others are simply bugs in the software (I hope).

1) The front page. The app starts up into a screen with six, seemingly random chosen, buttons. If I want to get to the "Learn" menu, I have to go via Play Live (?) --> Stats (??) --> See full stats (??) --> Learn. Forcing the user through this irrational sequence of steps is a big blunder imo.

2) Once the "Play", "Learn", "Share", "Forums" and "More" menus are available (after following the steps above), clicking them brings down the dropdown menu only for a second before the app prematurely directs me to that destination. The expected response would be to bring down the dropdown menu and letting the user read the menu before awaiting further instructions.

3) When I (accedentaly or not) rotate my screen, the app interprets this as a request by me to instantly go to the "Stats" page regardless of whether or not I'm in the middle of a video, tactical exercise, or just generally lost in the confusing layout of the app. This interpretation is frustratingly incorrect.

I'll leave it at that for now and wait for a response from chess.com. I'll most likely cancel my "diamond" subscription before the one-month money-back option expires, if these issues are not ironed out.
