Can I just accept all requests to chat?

I find the "X would like to chat" box that I then have to click on very distracting during games, I'd rather people could just send me messages at will (i.e how it used to work if I remember correctly). Can I pre-emptively accept all chat requests during games? Is there a setting?

There is in settings for everyone 

That tells me how to disable chat altogether, what I want is to allow my opponent to send messages without me needed to confirm that's ok every time.

You can just select "Everyone" under Game Chat and that would solve your problem, I guess.

No it doesnt solve the problem. You still have to manually accept
