Can no longer create rated daily tournaments?

Hello

A daily tournament I created started today and to my surprise the games are not rated. I was sure that I selected the option to have the games rated. Then, when I tried to create a new daily tournament I see the “Games are RATED” option (under advanced options) is no longer there. I’ve tried different browsers, tried on my phone and on my computer. In all cases this option is no longer there. Are we not able to create rated daily tournaments anymore?

Custom position tournaments are now unrated

Thanks a lot for your response, but the tournament was not a custom position tournament nor was the new one I was trying to create. Both are just a standard tournaments.

I have noticed this as well. It looks like chess com have removed the rated option for unofficial tournaments which is annoying.

I've been in touch with chess.com support on this matter and have been informed there is a bug in the system regarding creating rated tournaments. I'm told it is being looked at.

I notice that I am now able to create rated tournaments again. I haven't heard anything further from chess.com support but it seems to be working normally again.

It seems like it is back now.
