I don't seem to get matched for a game....when I challenge it keeps searching and searching but no outcome......is it a global problem or it is just me...

just like the other replies above me, I can't find a game, it seem to search endlessly. I am on Windows 11.

I've been trying to find 10 min rapid games for a couple days now. Everytime I try, the search queue goes for any rating instead of around where I'm at. It also just keeps searching and never finds a game. I've restarted the chess.com app and my phone multiple times. HELP!!!

From today ive encountered a thing where i try to find a game then it says its having trouble connecting even though i tested my wifi and its working fine in other games. Anyone able to help or also have this issue?

I am having a problem where I try to start a game but it says "taking longer than usual to connect" and then never connects. I am also having this same problem when I go to game review of games I've played before this issue. I don't think it has to do with my internet because I've had problems with online chess until yesterday.

I'm having the same issue, but only on my laptop. I can connect and play just fine on my phone. I'm also able to do puzzles on my laptop with no problems, it's just that I'm unable to connect to a game with a live opponent.

Hey! I have the exact same issue. Did you manage to resolve it? 
The reason this happens is because you get shadow-banned if too many people bad sport you. So far as I can tell it's a very long timeout the first few times and not recoverable after a few episodes.
Turning your chat off completely as I did from the constant, random, unprompted verbal abuse seems to really trigger this, I guess people rage if they can't insult you.
You /will/ get a game eventually in the "bad sport pool", it will just take forever and when you do you'll likely get paired with some dipstick who's more likely to play sewer chess, timeout/leave/stall, and/or choose false-reporting-violence at the end of a game - perpetuating the cycle. The system here is asinine, no one is doing basic mechanism design, and no one cares.
Solution: go play on lichess. People there are way nicer, as well.
