This is happening frequently. I have seen two other posts that are saying that there is problems with the chess pieces.

I cant move the pieces either. Sounds like the same problem as given above. When will this be fixed. Do I get a time credit while the situation is examined??
should I try to uninstall and re-install the program to get the pieces to move correctly??

I can't move pieces. But after my opponent moves, if I click on "new game," then I can make one move.
But when my opponent replies, I cannot move unless I click "new game" again. What's going on here? Is this chess.com's premium service?

I just played a game, where I tried to move a pawn unsuccesfully for 15 seconds before time ran out. Very frustrating bug when you're in an end game. It happens every now and then that pieces seems to be impossible to move, but after 5-10 tries it suddenly works.
I'm having this same problem. Is there already any solution for it?
this happens to me on ubuntu. happens in firefox and chrome.
new to chess.com, but I've already seen this problem a few times.
uing internet explorer on windows 7
is there a fix or workaround?

Having this problem on Nexus 7 tablet, using Chrome browser. Everything else responds except trying to make a move.
i cant take pieces then time runs out then i get a warning not to dely games this site has been no fun for me it sucks.
I am experiencing this unusual problem: I cant move pieces voluntarily, everytime I make a move. the piece go back to the original position while my time is running out.
