Maybe he doesn't know how to input a castle? Was he moving his rook first?

I do not see anything which would have prevented him from castinling queenside. Is he positive he tried to move the king over 2 squares, to c8?

Thanks for your concern Synapse. I'm sorry about this mess guys - I just didn't know where to move the king/rook to make it castle up.
I was trying to do a 'far castle' (aka queenside castle as stated by Monicker). I thought the castling would work if I merged my king to the rook, or vice versa. Low and behold, it worked after moving the king 2 spaces over towards the rook, which I was unaware of.
Problem solved, and Synapse is a great guy to play against.
During a greeter game with Phoenix52, he asked me why he was unable to castle in one of his other games, posted below. Is this a bug, or am I missing something very obvious? Thanks in advance!
