LOL!
He called us noobs! lol! Ha!
It hurts! LOL! IT HURTS!
It's ok if you want to resort to name calling and internet heebie-geebies. But I hereby declare that chess.com leave its moderation to public games and reports of indecent behavoir. Not me throwing and "F" bomb in the middle of a private game where I have been forked or skewered or am giving a friend advice on a certain opening/strategy. I was in the middle of an instructive game where I was trying to help someone tactically when I was muted. Thank you very much.
Considering his profile pic, I think he may have meant 'doobs'.
He's been on here for 7 months and just decided to get a memebership when he has a complaint?
I've got a couple of things I complain about, but still got a membership after less than a month.
Chess.com staff, do I get a discount of some type if my subscription is accompanied by insistant whining?
@OP.
It seems obvious that you are in the minority, so far no-one has agreed with you. So, clearly, you dont represent $120, you represent losses of 1000's as other member leave the site.

I do believe you are over-rating his affect on the rest of us.
I for one have found this thread quite entertaining and am wondering why I don't have to pay extra to participate.
Having nothing else to argue he had to resort to my profile picture. Which has also included other influencial historical figures, art pieces and chess motifs. This is not an issue of personal perference as Terence Mckenna has given our modern society a sense of comraderie and "earthlingship". This is about private messages being monitored for buzz words and subsequently muted for such behavior. If Chess.com continues to monitor my private behavior I will be forced into a resignation of Diamond membership. I love D. Rensch and the whole Chess.com crew. However. If I am to be monitored constantly, I will have to resign my position. I love Chess.com and all the lessons, tactics trainers and video lessons it has to offer but if my private behavior is of more importance to the powers that be than my inherent character. I will have to forgo my Diamond membership and move on. To bigger and brighter prospects where I will be respected and considered as a valuable consumer and member of the community.
I must stress this is not about personal preference but my dedication and willingless to participate in a chess website. I am looking for a "forever home" more than just a "place to play". I wholeheartedly love chess.com but if they are insistent on monitoring and disciplining me on my perferred style of the english language among peers and friends I will have to look elsewhere. Not for your, or their sake, but my own. I am only looking for a place to be accepted and welcomed for who I am in private more than praised for who I am in private, behind the curtain. Thank you.
It's fine if the general population doesn't care, but the 120$ I represent to the owners doesn't matter. I'll see all you "noobs" later.
