Cheaters in Multi-Club Arenas
Of course I reported them. I just wanted to know how to prevent this.
I’m also concerned about why Chess.com doesn’t detect when a player resigns 186 games in a few hours without making a single move.

That's not the only issue. The points should also be deducted from the MCA from such players.
Exactly.
You could block ppl who change their names frequently and or ain`t been a member for a time?
I dunno.....it`s a shame when one person attempts to ruin the fun for the majority and wins!
this site use to have money tournaments quarterly for all those that made legend league. However, many of the winners were caught cheating after the tounaments were over so they canceled all those events. My t is that this site decided not to hold its own tournaments because of cheating. i am highly skeptical they will do anything about our little club tounaments. (and the cheaters probably know that to be the case)
Only way to out play the cheaters is to make clubs only available to long time members etc i reckon.
Have you been a member of chess.com for over 6 months? Yes then tick!
Have you ever changed your name? If no then tick ![]()
I guess saying that i`d give some slack to someone who`d changed their name just the once ![]()

In our last Multi-Club Arena we faced two issues:
1️⃣ Cheating Player:
One player from a club was cheating during the whole 24-hour arena and finished in the top 10 with more than 100 points for their club.
The account was later banned by Chess.com, but the points they scored were still counted in the club's total.
In my opinion, if an account is banned for fair play violations, the points they contributed to a club during the event should be removed. Otherwise the final standings can be unfair.
2️⃣ Player Sabotaging by Resigning:
Another issue we had was even harder to detect.
An unknown player joined my club, entered the arena, and resigned every single game.
We only discovered it because a player from another club messaged me about it. With so many players joining arenas, it's not easy to notice this type of behavior quickly.
In total, the player resigned 186 games in the arena.
Shouldn't it be possible for Chess.com to detect this kind of abnormal activity automatically when someone resigns so many games in a single event?
