Chess.com App for Android acting weird - constantly downloading boards and pieces

Hi all!

Ever since the last version of the Chess.com app for Android got updated - it keeps downloading the pieces and boards - that I already have installed. And the applied pieces and board settings sometimes just get reset to default. Sometimes - the boards and the pieces for games and for the tactics and lessons look different. 

Never used to happen before and it's a bit irritating - especially because the "Downloading pieces" notification can stay up there on my phone for hours on end. 

The website interface on my computer works just fine.

Anybody else experience this thing?

Try clearing the app cache and see if that helps. If not, clear the app data and see if that resolves it (this will require settings to be redone).

I totally overlooked that. Just tried doing that now. Let's see how that goes.

Issue persists, even though there was an app update 1 hour prior to clearing cache and app data (forgot to mention that)

You may want to use the report a problem option in settings. 

I'm sorry, but I cannot find such an option in Settings, I would have done that first otherwise.

Depending on your screen size you may need to scroll. It is just above Logout on the app.
