I've cleared my browser cache multiple times. I should not have to do it after every game--pretty interesting that this is happening to so many users. Eventually, after chess.com starts losing enough memberships and paying customers, maybe they will look into this ... maybe they won't. I've just started using lichess.org and so far, I'm enjoying it without having to clear my browser's cache. That was something we had to do in the 2000s when the internet was still young.

Is it possible you had multiple tabs open and the Gane loaded in a background tab?

I Was disconnected once too

I closed the browser down when I was having issues and reopened it. I had 3 tabs open. Gmail, Home Depot, and Chess.com. It is possible that there was a tab that I closed in the recent past that had Chess.com that for some reason had not been terminated by Edge (the browser I've been using).

A simple fix would be for Chess.com to provide a link to the active game when someone clicks on "New Game" and a game is already in progress.

@DarthKaBlunder I cleared your disconnect stats, so you'll be matched in the standard user pool again. I checked the logs and can confirm that something strange is going on there. Your client receives information about the game, but it sometime fails to connect to it for no clear reason. I'm very sorry that it's happening to you. We're investigating your case and hope to learn something new from it.

When you click "new game" and a game is already in progress, your client tries to automatically connect to it. It's the same mechanism as if you had a direct link to the game and opened it.

Hello guys! My browser is up to date (Mozilla Firefox), optical internet connection stable with 212Mbps download and 125Mbps upload speed. Ping is 2ms. I've lost a high number of recent games because chess.com keeps failing and disconnects me numerous times during the game, sometimes without me even noticing it. What to do?

You might check out the following articles but if there's an issue between you and the live server process you may not be able to do anything.

Well at least thank you for the reply but it didn't help. Frustrating.
