chess.com resigns my games auotmatically

if my phone loses the connection for a few seconds (even 10 seconds), when it re-connects very often the app automatically resigns from the game. it's really annoying, I lost a lot of games over this problem!

Yes. It's too bad that there is no way to figure out the difference between people just quitting without resigning and those who have just lost their connection.
Unfortunately, thousands of people just close their browsers or apps when they realize they are lost. Their opponents used to have to wait for games to time out. It was very annoying, particularly in rapid games.

no, I didn't abandoned the game, I was on a train and the connection went off for a few moments. I am completely sure, since I was looking at the screen, that I still had 47 seconds in the countdown to re-connect, but when it reconnected it automatically resigned, even if the countdown was not finished. it is not the first time it happens to me, I'm not used in quitting games stopping moving (I know there is a resign botton), and it would be very stupid opening a thread to ask for some help if the matter was just me quitting the games or having a bad connection, dont' you think? there is no need to be so malicious and rude, we are on chess.com
no, you're not getting what I'm saying (from the first thread on): it often happens that when my connection goes off for a few moments, when it reconnects I get the message that I resigned the game, even if I didn't and even if the time in which I'm allowed to wait for the connection to get on again is not finished. the game you linked is exactly the game after which I opened the thread: I lost the connection for a few moments, and when the connection got on again, I was automatically resigned from the game, even if the time I had to re-connect was not finished (again, I still had 47 seconds). I'm repeating the same thing since the first thread - without any inconsistency -, just to ask for some help and report a problem I've been facing with, so your angry attitude is useless and unnecessary
OMG, I opened the thread for that exact reason: again, it was not me abandoning the game, it was the app! I don't know how to write this in a different way, when the connection got on again -even if the time to reconnect wasn't over-, I got the message "you lost by resigning", which I didn't and which is WHY I opened this thread. why in the world would I open a thread if it was just me quitting the game?
Red girl you are inattentive and wrong. The server is ludicrous it resigns my games as well I full well know how much time I have left I am not allowed to even go into a 20 second think and the connection starts doing this irritating heartbeat thing I go into settings to try to wake the app up. Sometimes I will be trying to make a move but the app doesn't respond. Thinking for perhaps a full minute in a 5 minute chess game is not game abandonment it is playing chess.

That's what I'm saying. Anyone who's made a claim like you we found out was lagging. The exact same has occurred with you. You admitted you were lagging and had internet disconnection issues.
It's not chess.coms fault you can't afford proper internet.

Yes of course you can comment anything you want, but since you've been expressing the same opinion in a really rude way for a loooooot of times since the beginning without even giving me the impression of reading my posts properly, and you're just going on basically saying that I'm cheating, it is my right to tell you that I got your opinion, and to please let someone else share his/her experience with the same techincal issue

My internet connection was working perfectly in a match just now and in front of me they showed the game will resign in 1 min becoz i have lost connection like how . . . and they showed that i abandoned game its just too frustrating. . . . it was this game https://www.chess.com/live#g=5376270398
IT's NOT RIGHT to have this absurd hyperactive lag punishment for "improper internet" the policy is absurd and wrong
GOD so many times the server sucks cant connect

Happens to me too, its so annoying. The swrvers should be set to wait untill all the time is exhausted. I lost connection for as little as 5 seconds, and when it came back, i had lost by resignation.

Its inconsistent because sometimes, i will pick up a call in the middle of a game and when am done, i will just proceed from where i left, which is a good thing but sometimes a few seconds with poor network and you've lost by resignation
it happened to me as well. the most broken app i've ever seen in my life , programmed by troglodytes.
I can understand it is very annoying
