chess.com resigns my games auotmatically

I was in a completely winning position and waiting for my opponent to make a move. They waited out the time to zero though and for some reason it said I WAS THE ONE who lost by timeout. Trying to play chess but right as I spawned in I moved then resigned for no reason (I didn't click it) got banned for 2 mins from vairients for this.

I believe the issue has been resolved. Recently, I noticed my internet disconnecting and reconnecting during gameplay, but moves continued and the game did not resign automatically.

Exactly the same issue here, has there been any resolution for this?

Very poor management. It just happened to me too. I was playing a rapid game and my internet connection is superfast but suddenly it disconnected and after reconnecting, I lost the game saying I abandoned the game.

I noticed that the first post was in 2019. The issue is not yet solved.
