Chess.com Email - Unable to log in

I am currently unable to log into my chess.com email.  I know I am using the right username but I cannot think of the password, I am sure it is what I am typing in but I also have no idea how to reset this either.

shouldn't it be same as you chess.com password?

in fact once you log onto chess.com your email open with out prompting for password

No.  When I log into Chess.com the website and I go to my homepage and click on email it opens a new window and prompts me to log in.
