How do I post a survey on chess.com?

You mean like one of those official-looking ones, with questions as "What's your favorite piece?" or "How much Chess have you been playing the past week?"

You can't.

Unfortunately we can't do it (I guess)

You could ask Connor.  He posts an "Official" survey about once a month.  Maybe he gives lessons.

where are the surveys?

They show on the Chess Today section of the site. News > Chess Today

There is a section for the current survey and the header is a link to previous ones.
