Column for annotations much too narrow. How to widen ?

Opening a blog results in two columns on my display. The content is in the left column, about two-thirds the width of the display. The right column has a few small windows titled Blogs, Create Post, Search Blogs. Can find no way to eliminate the right column and widen the left.

The composed content presented is in the left column. The game board is large & clear. Unfortunately the comments/annotations are in an extremely thin column beside the board. Usually this is only three characters wide. Reading this is miserable. Have found no way to widen this. Can it be made readable ?

Would be better if the right column, containing the 'administrative' windows could be closed, widening the bloggers composed content to most of the screen. Of course this would allow more width for the annotation. Appears that most of the right column is wasted space.

You can't remove the sidebar, but the annotations and move list shouldn't be that small. What kind of device are you viewing on?

Have an old hp 15 inch laptop with 1360x768 native resolution, landscape orientation. Running Windows 10. Custom scale factor set at 125 % so I can read text.

Ever since I've used chess.com I've been struggling with the extremely narrow annotation slide bar ( not just the slide but the text ). The board diagrams are quite big. Would be much better if the boards were 40-50% smaller, but the text wider.

Also have an old desktop in a back room which I rarely use. It has a 19" screen, also Windows 10. Surprisingly the "blog window" looks relatively wider on it, the board occupies only about half its width, and the test is much wider.

It's probably due to your zoom level then.
