I dont know for sure, but it seems logical that the conditional will kick in.
Conditional Moves and Vacation
The support articles on vacation time and conditional moves do not reference each other.
My assumption in this case is that conditional moves keep on playing even if you're on vacation. Why not? The purpose of conditional moves is to continue down a line without having to make the moves one at a time. Being on vacation or not doesn't really make a difference to the idea of conditional moves.
Has anyone figured this out? Also, more importantly, if a conditional move is played, does it end my vacation (without me knowing)? It would be terrifying if it was so.
It's a good thing this is posted in help and support, where one wouldn't have to wait years for an answer...
linlaoda: Thank you for actually testing it. The issue was discussed and logically "resolved" two years ago. If there was really some sort of conflict with vacation and conditional moves, it would have been dealt with as a bug long ago.
AlCzervik: The answer was researched and answered two years ago. Not all questions need an admin user to give a response.

There was no answer here until 3 weeks ago. Still two years after OP.
To your second point, no sh*t. The point (missed by you) is that members see h&s as a way of getting answers to questions about the site. This is a good question that should have been addressed long ago. If other members answer, fine. But, none had. I don't see the research you write of here. Furthermore, this is a specific situation in which one (if not going on vacation, with cm's planned) would have to:
put in cm's
go on vacation
wait to see if cm's are used. In the process, delaying all games, possibly some tournaments.
As opposed to a staff member chiming in. Therein lies the rub, which is why I wrote what I did three weeks ago. Simple questions are easily answered by others. This one was not, and no staff member bothered to even look into it.

I'm playing multiple games. What happens if I enter some conditional moves for one game and then immediately go on vacation? When my opponent in that one game makes a move will there be an automatic response on my behalf or will nothing happen because my status shifts automatically to vacation mode?
