Resolved: Confusion on Draw (TFR)
Threefold repetition requires that the exact same position occurs three times during the game. The positions don't have to be consecutive. It doesn't even matter if different pieces are used to acheive that position (for instance, in one occurance the King's Rook might be on c2, while in another occurance, the Queen's Rook might be on c2).
I'm sure I just don't understand the rule, but I'd like to have this explained to me. I had played Ke6 on moves 34, 36, and 38. Is this not a three-fold repetition? I clicked draw after I completed move 38 and it did not draw the game. Is there some caveat I'm missing about the three-fold repetition rule? Or did I click the wrong thing? Any help would be appreciated.
