Converting Chess.com to USCF

OP

Why don't you just tell everyone the answer that you want to hear? It seems that anyone who tells you anything gets labeled as unhelpful.

This attitude can be seen in your posts #3, #15, #20, #22, and now #41.

I am looking for someone to be helpful, not a jacka**.

I have just competed in several tournaments this month, and I see how the K-value can change a rating rapidly. I jumped 300 points over the course of the month, and I will be competing in many more tournaments this month. Thanks to those who helped.

My rules of thumb:

(1) Take chess.com online (correspondence) rating, subtract 800-900 points, and you have USCF standard (non-rapid) rating.

(2) Take chess.com blitz (5-minute) rating, add 100-200 points, and you have USCF standard (non-rapid) rating.

These should be applied in averages, not to individual players.

hyperbole - but the general trend is true at the lower ranges (<1500) Blitz pool is overpowered af and correspondence pool is weak af.  For some reason they even out in the higher ranges.
