Hi,
A few days ago a friend of mine challenged me for a 3-days daily chess game. It's my first time ever I play a daily game.
As a beginner I appreciate the fact that I have more time to analyze the game (on real chessboard) so as to find the right move.
Looking into daily games options, I see that we can choose among 1, 3 or 7 days.
But what seems more interesting is that we can set move speed as well!
In case I choose 3 hrs move speed, what happens if my opponent doesn't move in that timeframe?
Lastly, as this 3-day game, is becoming quite long (been playing for 9 days now...) which are the best settings to play a faster game?
Thanks for any advice!
The move speed setting just pairs you will someone that has moved that quickly on average. It doesn't require any moves to made that quickly in those games and the player can use all the time, up to the time control, to move still.
