Diamond membership not updating

I am a platinum member, and another player gifted me a diamond membership, as you can see here:

It says diamond, but the screenshot cuts it out.

My account shows "platinum" still, so does it change after my platinum membership is complete? Or do I have to do something to change it? I'm happy either way.

The site will not supercede the membership you purchased and the subscription you agreed to. So, if someone gifts you a higher level membership, you get credited the amount of that purchase toward your account, which extends the expiration date of your current level.

If you want diamond, you'll have to upgrade and it will use your available credit towards that purchase. If it was one month of diamond, be sure to choose the monthly option and downgrade back to platinum again by the end of the 30 days or you will continue at that level but your overall subscription length will be decreased, since it's billing at the monthly diamond rate.

And if the gift was a year, you'll want to downgrade after a year, or your next renewal will be at the diamond level.
