Did chess.com change how it calculates best move percent?

All of a sudden my percentages are dropping from between 50-70 to under 20. I also ran a master game through an analysis and rated one of them with a best move percent of zero.

Your blitz rating has also dropped almost 200 points.

Have you had a checkup recently?

I have recently been on a hot losing streak, but I don't think the two are related. When the analysis says a master player has a best move percent of zero... it makes me wonder.

Take for instance, this game. In a deep analysis five of the moves were highlighted green as "best moves." There were a total of nine moves. I would think that would be a 55% best move rate, but it counted as 20%. My opponent only had two moves highlighted green as "best moves." I would think that would be a 22%, but it counted at 28.6%.

Calculations of best moves is not that accurate. I have my own chess engine. I know I cannot beat my chess engine. But sometimes the best move of a chess engine is the worst move for me. We think as humans not as robots\machines.

Or how about this one. 16 of my 40 moves were colored green as best moves in a deep analysis, but the analysis calculated the best move percent as 0%. Sixteen out of 40 is 40%. What am I missing?

It would seem you have a point. I would send this info into support. (Support@chess.com)
