My broadband is fast. I switched to my mobile data just in case, which was also working fine, but chess.com would not reconnect until the very moment when I would lose the game.
Ironically, I’ve been getting a lot of messages trying to read the forums just now saying there is a problem with the servers.
You can open a ticket with support and include a link to the game and support should be able to refund rating.

The problem is that the site traffic doubled early last month and traffic has been sustained. Staff are working on it and should be better soon.
